If you have a 4-wheel-drive SUV and the courage, you can drive down into the canyon.
The view along the rim walk was outstanding - but I didn't go as close to the edge as this person did.
Photos 3 & 4 above and 1 & 2 below are of Mesa Arch about 1/2 mile hike - definitely worth it!
Hard to tell on the photos, but right under the arch it drops straight down to the canyon below.
